About Us
Born in Indonesia I came to Australia in 2008. I started working as a welder and fabricator. Always artistic and creative I was surprised to learn that a friend was earning twice as much money as I was by creating tattoos. This sounded so appealing, a job where I could earn great money while also spending my day being creative.
Never to do things by half measures, my wife Darleene and I decided that, not only would I become a professional tattoo artist, but that together we would start our own tattoo business. We could create a space we love while providing financial freedom for our family. So, in 2012 we opened G’Day Ink in Melbourne. From the outset we wanted to recreate the Balinese culture in our studio. We wanted our clients to feel like they were in Bali in a beautiful studio with a relaxing vibe while paying tribute to the Balinese love of art and craftmanship.
Now 9 years later G’Day Ink has grown from strength to strength. We offer many different styles of tattoos as well as body piercings. The vast majority of the clients are repeat customers and our studio has a warm and welcoming Balinese vibe.
